An award ceremony was held at S. Thomas' College, Bandarawela on 29th May, 2023 to honour six students who received the President's Scout Badge. This is the highest award that a scout can achieve in Sri Lanka.

The event took place at the Keble Memorial Hall and was graced by the present District Commissioner Mr. Mahinda Ratna and past District Commissioner Mr. Thilak Jayasiri.
