The athletes at S. Thomas' College, Bandarawela put up a glorious all-round performance to bag the Bandarawela Zonal Athletic Championship in the boys category. The meet was held at the UC Grounds, Bandarawela from August 29th to September 2, 2022.

Supun Senevirathna was placed 1st in both the 100m and 200m, under 20 event. Kavindu Nimesha and Esitha Gimhana also performed very well in several track events.

In the 100 x 4 and 400 x 4 relays, the following students participated and were placed first:
Supun Senevirathna, Kavindu Nimesha, Esitha Gimhana, Vageesha Kalhara and Victor John

In the under 18, 16, and 14 events, the following students performed exceptionally well:
Ruwein Ponweera, Diman Yasas, Chiran Mahakumarage, Rovindu Witharana, Mandara, Vibodha Amarathunga, Chamath Dissanayaka, Mayantha Gunasena and Yashen Janaka.
