Sathindu Vidujaya LankathillakeNisal Dilushana Thilakarathne of S. Thomas' College, Bandarawela won the Sri Lanka National Online (Novices Division) Chess Championship 2021 of the Sabaragamuwa Province (Open). The championship was held in August 2021.  Nisal was unbeaten throughout the entire tournament with an impressive score of 7 out of 7 games.

Sathindu Vidujaya Lankathillake, also of S. Thomas' College, Bandarawela had an outstanding score 6 out of 7 possible games and claimed Silver at the tournament.
